Let's not do that. The trope is not "sexual intercourse without deep emotional factors happens".
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanCan someone who has seen The Room re-write this entry, which is mostly complaining about the movie and director? (Commented it out for now)
- The many trashy sex scenes in The Room, which were inserted just so Tommy Wiseau could have an excuse to see his own naked ass on the silver screen. Admittedly, only one of them was plot relevant. Ironically enough, it was the one that did not feature Tommy Wiseau's naked ass.
I've expanded the scope of this trope so that it doesn't require a Wall Banger be involved. Characters can have a perfectly legitimate in-story reason to have sex- that doesn't mean we have to actually watch them do the deed.
See you in the discussion pages. Hide / Show RepliesDoesn't that mean any sex scene applies?
(Also, if that's the definition, there's a hell of a lot of complaining that needs to be stripped out).
Edited by 86.30.54.132Can we remove the page image? It's a bit NSFW, and does nothing to explain the trope.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. The Na'vi have somewhat cat-like faces, but to be furry, they have to have, you know, FUR?

Should we make a mention that there is some Truth in Television? As in, fiction often teaches us that sex is something that is deeply emotional and done for very profound reasons, while in reality people have a biological inclination to have sex at every opportunity. Realistically, a sex scene could very justifiably be used (say instead of dialogue) just to establish that the characters have a bit of chemistry. But because we've been taught that sex is profound and important, we feel that the sex scene is gratuitou.
