This doesn't seem to be a valid example, as the example itself points out. An all-wand store is as sensible as a car dealership or real estate office — even if technically only one product is on offer, it's a type of product that demands that much expertise.

Harry Potter:

  • Mr. Ollivander of Ollivander's sells wands. Just wands. Justified as each wand must fit its owner, much like a shoe or clothing store. Wands are also major purchases, as a wand does not appear to ever 'wear out', and since they are central to a wizards power, it is worth buying the highest quality you can afford. A wand store is basically a place that sells a product that must fit like a suit, is as expensive as a car, and important as a home.

Seems not to be an example: not one or two products, not an absurdly narrow range.

  • The Simpsons: In "When Flanders Failed", Ned Flanders opens The Leftorium, a store with left-handed products for left-handed people; despite having a wide range of products, it initially fails due to interference by Homer.
