I could see this becoming No Real Life Examples, Please! at some point.
I did not mean to say that in reply to this post!
Edited by 130.85.252.73Does this even need examples? Serious Business is way WAY too general.
Edited by efsfsefsdf GAME OVERThe Dallas Cowboys/Philadelphia Eagles rivalry is total Serious Business
Will somebody add this
Hide / Show RepliesI feel as though a better name for this trope would be Children's Card Game. Thoughts?
Hide / Show RepliesNope. Serious Business sounds more like what the trope's about. Children's Card Game sounds like it's about a Trading Card Lame.
Yes, Childrens Card Game is frankly nonsense as a name for this trope.
Edited by ading I'm a Troper!!!So, why the image change? I thought the original Fauxtivational Poster was much much funnier than the same image as just a picture and a caption.
Hide / Show RepliesThe new image definitely isn't good, but I don't know what the other was.
I'm a Troper!!!Bloody cripes the amount of real life examples is getting crazy. I know Serious Business is what it is, but I reckon people are getting a bit silly, just putting any random thing they want and act like its a matter of life and death (whether they do so in all seriousness or to take the mickey out of it)
That and some of the natter and all that
Lebron James saying he`s joining the Miami Heat is Serious Business
Cleveland Cavalier fans was angry Thursday night. They were burning jerseys, crying, throwing stones at a lebron james mural.
ESPN also aired a Lebron James Special called The Decision on Thrusday night
I think some tropers exaggerated how "overplayed" Michael Jackson's death was in the media. I don't remember it being more overreported-upon than that of Princess Di, and besides, it's a legitimate news story. While I'm on the subject, it's obvious that he thought the rail on the balcony was a table for a second and wasn't trying to "dangle" Blanket. Finally, why is it covered under "real life," when it could go under "music?"
