I don't know if there is already a similar trope, I tried to look for it but could not find anything.
Anyway... The trope could be called something like "Three seasons flirty", the general concept it's in a lot of tv series (mostly action or sitcoms that have a "main couple" but it's not exactly centered on them) the said couple take exactly 3 seasons to stay together.
