I removed a Professional Wrestling entry of "In non-hardcore matches, the use of weapons is illegal... but if one wrestler brings a weapon into the ring, the other wrestler can legally use that weapon" because that generally hasn't been the case in promotions I've watched. Heck, a fairly common heel technique involves them bringing the weapon into the ring, bringing it to the referee's attention, having the ref distracted, then tossing the weapon to the face and feigning getting hit to garner a disqualification win.
Perhaps this is specific to a particular promotion?
