Uh...according to your contributor page, you're the one who wrote it. Wouldn't you have a better idea what this trope is supposed to be about than the rest of us?
Objective opinion: this trope would be a bit easier to understand if the title was Science Cant Explain It so that it meshed with the Stock Phrase, which seems to be what this trope is really about.
See you in the discussion pages.I was the one who wrote it, but I was just wondering if anyone else felt that it was vague, or if other tropers understood it just fine.
Science Cant Explain It is a good title, but I think that the current title better shows the big idea: that science either "just can't"/"shouldn't"/"isn't supposed to" know what magic/superpowers/etc, are, or can't even understand what the Phlebotinum even is.

Also, I'd remove Datas quote. The quote about how "I don't know" is the start of scientific investigation is a pretty legitimate concept in science. The problem is, "I don't know" is supposed to be followed up with "So let's find out." Which is what this trope is about negating.
This is an anti-trope for Magic Aismagic A and Sufficiently Analysed Magic. An anti-trope to an extablished trope is valid.
Science Cant Explain is good since stck-phrases are still permitted. In the old days, wee could call it Deathly Hallows, since most of the time it is lazy author cant be arsed to make her magic rules consistent and then beats us over the head with "You puny mortals are too inferior to know the rules of magic."
Rant mode off.
What if there were no hypothetical questions? There are 10 kinds of people: those who understand Binary and those who don't.
This Trope seems really vague. Anyone else think that it could use a bit of refining?
