Okay, but can't we keep this as a singular redirect? We can't subtract an s from a Wiki Word.

Saturday Morning Cartoon

Well how about that.

I guess it's not in the guide because it has been ruled unnecessary, people naturally tend towards the singular and having a default is easiest so all pages are set to singular and plural redirects are cut.

Or maybe they just forgot from way back when. It's easiest for everybody just to learn one method and adding suffixes is more general.

Anywho, there's no way I'm cutting a page that has 64 wicks when it's the appropriately named version of a page that has 17 wicks.

Fleeb, I'm late, but Fast Eddie said himself to use the plural version as an index: https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=mszvbapz724h8i44tpcwb8s4&page=1#2

So...

Fast Eddie is still capable of being wrong. The page not only forms an index but also a description and a treatment that could work like a genre. We use plurals for indices because we will refer to them as indices but nobody has referred to this page as an index, they have been talking about the concept of a Saturday-Morning Cartoon, singular. If they didn't then we wouldn't have had two pages turning up in the first place.

Do we have an index for Weekday Afternoon Cartoons yet? Back in my day, there were a fair few more cartoons on during the weekdays (especially during the summer) than there were on Saturday mornings...I suppose you could just throw everthing into the Saturday Morning index, but there's quite a bit. Actually, most of it was syndicated, with WPWR (Channel 50, before the dark days of UPN) taking the lion's share of it.

Okay, never mind about Weekday Afternoon Cartoons. It'd only be superfluous given a moment's reflection. Having said that, the Syndication section seems a bit sparse. There are at least five or six series I can remember off the top of my head: The Bots Master; [1]; [2]; Widget The World Watcher; and Conan The Adventurer. I distinctly remember that the last three were a part of Bohbot's Amazin' Adventures! package-deal, and came on during Saturday Mornings.

If my memory serves me correctly (and it usually does, except when I forget), Fox Kids had Mighty Max and The Bots Master.

So, I was wondering... Should we also do a page for weekday cartoons? Because that existed too (didn't last as long, but was still a major source of animated entertainment for a few decades)

I'd post the Wikipedia link but for some reason outside links don't work well. Maybe It's been too long since I began my hiatus from doing much more around here than lurking and minor grammar edits... Also, why the hell are there backslashes automatically added after I type apostrophes!?
