Do just plain anthropomorphic tanks from worlds without humans count?

Starcraft 2 has Protoss that get their bodies injured and have their brains installed on 4-legged vehicles that fit that basic Main Battle Tank definition, which makes them Sapient Tanks but from a complete 180 degrees approach, as in, these are sapient Protoss brains installed in vehicles, which makes them Cybernetic Organisms at the same time as Sapient Tanks.
I think the trope does not relate to those, but pure AI or robotic-decision-making powered tanks.
