Re-added. And mea culpa: I probably should have looked around a little more before removing this one, as in retrospect it seems like an easy find.
I've removed the following example, as the episode named in it does not contain the events described (and I don't know what the correct episode title is):
- American Dad!: In "The Most Adequate Christmas Ever", Stan goes back in time believing that killing Jane Fonda will prevent the liberalization of the holiday season. When Stan came back to the present, he found that his efforts caused Ronald Reagan to lose the presidential election to Walter Mondale, who just "gave" America to the Soviets.
