If roses are 'red', what color is 'rose'?
Roses are rose, Violets are violet, If poems had to make sense, we'd all be quiolet.
So apparently people have been having gripes with the Variants section for literal YEARS, and discussion on it has remained stagnant. I counted close to 75 wicks in the folder around a month ago, and it's obvious from looking at just the first few poems it's been treated as a big dumping ground for tropers who thought them up and wanted to post them somewhere. Even by TV Tropes standards, it comes off as cluttered and unprofessional, and the sheer size of it compared to the rest of the page is frankly ridiculous. It's time we finally do something about it. My suggestion: we keep/add the actual variations of the famous poem and move all the fanmade ones to its own dedicated Just for Fun page so we can keep them seperate.
