Am I the only one who thinks that the entry about Once Upon a Studio: Version 2.0 doesn't really count as an example of this trope? I mean, it's just a fanfic. It's not like the voice actors listed in that entry actually reprised their roles for that fanfic. By contrast, and using another entry from the Fan Works folder as an example, Jaleel White did reprise his role as Sonic for Eddie Lebron's fanfilm. However, the same thing cannot be said for Linda Larkin as Jasmine in OUAS 2.0 for instance.

Could this count for sequels like Shock Treatment and Grease 2 which don't have many actors from the first movie?

From the Tropes page for "Out of Sight (Film)": "Continuity Nod: Michael Keaton plays the same role (Ray Nicolette) he did in Jackie Brown, another Elmore Leonard adaptation.

... Does that count as a Role Reprisal? It's not an intercontinuity crossover, but "Continuity Nod" seems overly vague, as offhand mentions of an unseen character can qualify as such, whereas this is the same actor actually showing up.
