I think the old picture is more appropriate. The focus in the Russia picture is on the cat in his lap, which is appropriate given Blofeld's legendary facelessness.

Changed image back. That cat practically served as Blofeld's face, and it does a good job of it in this picture. (Alternate picture with Blofeld fully revealed here◊.)
