  • A number of the future eras visited by the Doctor mix futuristic, Raygun Gothic and Steampunk technology. Example: Starship UK from "The Beast Below" and New Earth in "Gridlock".

I'm sure at least a couple of episodes mix "old fashioned" with future but I don't really recall either of these episodes evoking this (and several other future episodes from these eras outright don't fit this). Someone explain this in more detail?

This topic needs a rather brisk broom. The trope states that it is for universes that are ostensibly present day but stylistically heark back to earlier era. Things such as Fallout are DEFINITELY not in the right place.
