The "dogwhistle for antisemitism" line seems like a massive stretch to me, similar legends that this trope is derived from have been going back since the Scramble for Africa. I didn't want to just delete it in case there was a discussion about this I missed. While I acknowledge that it can veer into that territory, to write off the entire trope as such would be similar to the nutjobs saying all orcs in fantasy settings are a stand-in for black people. I've gone ahead and deleted it, feel free to reply if there's an issue.
