If I made a story with the red & blue pills I would make it so that it would be revealed that the red pill didn't make them see reality but instead just a different falsehood.

What is the trope namer?

Although The Matrix might offer the most well known (or even triumphant) example, wouldn't Total Recall be the trope namer since it came first?
