Can any Firefly fans confirm if River Tam had a habit of doing this? I have a feeling she did, but I haven't watched it in a while and I could be imagining it.

Noaqiyeum: When I was five or six, I noticed that when people mean "yes" they rock their heads forwards and backwards (pitch) and when they mean "no" they shake them side to side (yaw). This made me wonder what it meant if you rocked it side to side (roll) and concluded that it must mean "maybe" or "I don't know", and somehow managed to pick this up as a weird personal trait for years despite every single person asking me what I was doing - sometimes giving me a Quizzical Tilt back while I did.
