I'm pretty sure Raven's eyes are dark blue, The dumb toys and statues had the purple :P
Edited by forrestchump I hope your happy, scumsuckers! Hide / Show RepliesI'm not convinced about Sailor Mars, either. After looking at a random selection of screenshots, they seem to be either dark blue or black.
Why are there no Real Life examples? The Useful Notes page for Alexander Hamilton links to the historical fiction musical Hamilton, which under What Beautiful Eyes notes that the real Hamilton's eyes were "described as light blue or even violet." The word 'violet' in that quote links to this page, and the musical page does a good job of proving that he's special enough to make it on this page. Why isn't he, even if that isn't enough to create a Real Life section? He could go in Theater because of the musical, and that isn't a category on this page either.
Guys, if the trope isn't about people just having purple eyes, why is it called Purple Eyes?! We seriously can't just rename the trope to something like, I don't know, Important Indigo Irises or something like that? Really, guys.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIt was changed because the trope is not just "purple eyes".
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThere is a book I read and can't remember the title about a psychic girl who was being tested on in a facility. The facility explodes but she is saved from the fire by an unknown force. She has purple eyes and its supposed be a sign of evolution. Please help! It wasn't in the lit section of the article.
http://prntscr.com/gloqip Well, Emeraude also had a purple eye when she absorbed the Big Bad, but at the time it happened the Big Bad hasn't gone into a Heel–Face Turn yet and Emeraude was revealed to be Evil All Along so... I think this is a subversion, right?
