  • Akatsuki Minami, the progatongist of our main protagonist Kojou in Strike The Blood claims to have psychometry activated by fondling girls breasts. The psychometry part is true, the needing to fondle girls breasts is a somewhat less certain.

Grammar issues aside, I can't find a reference to this character (there's a Minamiya Natsuki and a Akatsuki Nagisa, but no Minami Akatsuki), much less the reference to the breast fondling. This needs to be cleaned up before it can be put back on the page.

In the YKTTW, I contributed this example:

  • Almost Human: Self-labeled "medium psychic"note  Haley Jolene Meyers from "Blood Brothers" has undergone something called the Cerebellix Procedure that gave her the ability to communicate with the spirits of the dead as long as she touches something they handled on a regular basis. She did it because she wanted to talk to her parents, but while she was in the hospital recovering from the procedure, her entire house burned to ash and she lost everything she might have touched for that purpose. At the end of the episode, Dorian gives her the evidence collected for the arson investigation, and she can be seen tearfully saying "...Hi" to thin air while touching a blackened doorknob.

@Willbyr said it seemed too much like mediumship instead of psychometry and that we could discuss it here after the launch, so here I am.

My thinking is that mediumship is pretty obviously a psychic power, so if psychometry is psychic power linked to object-touching, this is a fairly clear-cut example of that. I mean, you hear "psychic on TV," you think "person telling tearful survivors that their loved ones in the afterlife are happy," don't you? It's also something that Shawn on Psych does constantly to bolster his image as a psychic. Talking to the dead is totally classic psychic!

Fan Works

There's some grammar issues with this entry, but the biggest problem is that I don't know what the part after "but once" is trying to say. Something's missing and since I haven't read this fic I have no idea how to fix it.

I'm not sure why it's confusing, but maybe I'm too close to it to see... He touches Shun, who is a chain tsukumogami, at one point, and has visions of Shun's life. I can add a note after "chain tsukumogami" to explain what that is which may clarify - "the wars he's been used in" is because chain tsukumogami = living chain weapon. I was trying not to add extraneous information.

Okay, now things makes sense...I had a feeling that that phrase meant it was some kind of weapon. The biggest issue was that the way it was originally written read like there should've been something after "been used in" since there was an "and" connecting the touching and the visions. I've replaced the entry on the page with some tweaks.
