I'd like to repeat the above suggestion of a name change: I Must Pee. Simple, snappy?..eh?

I suggest we change it to Everybody Pees to open it up to less "extreme" examples, out of lack of a separate trope for that.

Are these really examples:

  • Doctor Who:
    • In The Runaway Bride, the Tenth Doctor waits in line at an ATM. He soon starts hopping up and down with an uncomfortable facial expression. (wasn't he just impatient?)
    • He ends up having to lie his way out of a long(and potentially very uncomfortable) Christmas dinner, claiming he needs to park his TARDIS or "it'll drift off to the Middle Ages". (wasn't he just bored?)
    • "Smith and Jones", after absorbing the radiation, the Doctor does a light hop, jiggling his pelvis, trying to get the radiation out of his bladder... (the radiation was in his body, but I don't think they specified where in his body it was)
    • In "Fires of Pompeii", while Donna is trying to warn Caecilius of the volcano, the Doctor feels the need to put his hands in his pockets(presumably to grab where necessary), and bends over with a tense expression. (maybe he's checking to see if his sonic screwdriver's still there and he's tense because of the volcano)
    • In "Planet of the Dead", the Doctor announces he'll be "back in two tics". Lady Christina proceeds to follow him... (isn't he going to look at the bus's engine or something?)
    • "End of Time Part 2": The Doctor yells at the Vinvocci to take him back to his TARDIS, clearly not liking the stairs, and wriggling while strapped in the chair, whining impatiently for them to untie him. (well, he was tied up for crying out loud! Isn't it normal he'd want to escape?)
    • The Eleventh Doctor has one in "Vampires in Venice". While sitting in Rosanna Calvieri's throne, he grabs himself and wriggles. (the Doctor is very animated)
    • "The Power of Three": the Doctor runs off towards the living room, where his TARDIS is, adjusting his pants upon returning. (maybe his pants were just too loose)
    • After visiting Queen Nefertiti at the beginning of "Dinosaurs on a Spaceship", he tries going into his TARDIS but gets stopped by Nefi, pinning him to the wall of the TARDIS, getting intimately close. He wriggles loose when getting an "iPhone alert" on his psychic paper. Later in the episode, he gets chased by pterodactyls in the (probably loud) ocean wave-powered engine room. (so? That doesn't mean he had to go to the bathroom)
    • Knock Knock: The Doctor states Time Lords only need sleep if they've had a big lunch, followed by a pained expression. He had a big lunch... (maybe he had indigestion?)
    • "The Ghost Monument":
Quick update, I made a terrible mistake, we shouldn't be here.(more correctly, she doesn't want to be there)
I really need you right now..
    • "Kerblam!": Wriggles while talking to Judy at the beginning. (the Doctor often wriggles, though)
    • "The Witchfinders": The Doctor gets startled, and makes an annoyed expression. Apparently didn't pee before Elizabethan England.. (either that or he (she? Don't know which Doctor) was simply annoyed at who/whatever startled him/her)

For every low there is a high.

Your points:

  • His facial expression. Both times clearly uncomfortable.

  • No, they didn’t specify, but he’s jiggling his pelvis, so that gives us an idea..

  • I think it has been shown at least once, that the doctor likes to keep his sonic in the upper pocket of his suit, not his coat.

  • No, he’s walking away from the bus.

  • Yes, but the way he is wriggling once they are on the ship is an unusual amount of moving, considering he was just about to be untied.

  • Not to the point of holding himself.. especially not there.

  • There is no reason for him to run to the living room besides to go into the TARDIS, and he didn’t return with anything.

  • Then why would he eat prawn chips? They are known to cause digestive issues, in some people.

  • Not in that way, with that Doctor, judging by previous evidence. That specific type of wriggling is new.

She wouldn’t be that annoyed at Yaz.

Can I get the opinion of a different user please? Not meaning to be rude. And with the prawn chips thing, he's a Time Lord. They've been known to cause problems in some humans.

And there are other reasons to feel uncomfortable.

Not that uncomfortable. But I agree, I want to hear more opinions on this, since you're apparently so sceptical of my examples. Thanks for the constructive criticism, it's what the discussion page is for!
