I understand, and won't argue against, not including any Real Life example of a Phony Psychic. That said, I'd like to know if mentioning Harry Houdini, well-known historically for chasing down and exposing many Phony Psychics in the later part of his life (a well-doumented, famous, unambiguous fact, which has been referenced in multiple media) would count as an aceptable example of Defied Trope under the Truth in Television heading (obviously, with no mention of whom he did or didn't expose).
Edited by eranaOkay, I was wondering why "Biggest Douche in the Universe" episode of Southpark wasn't mentioned, and then I noted the "No Real Life examples, and I think John Edwards in that is based on a real person.
