Is this common enough to be averted? In the third season finale of ER(I'm not 100% sure it was the finale, but it was in the last three eps of the season), Doctor Greene, having been assaulted in the previous episode, is walking to his car and sees a person walk towards him. It's set up to show that he's becoming paranoid (as the police had yet failed to find the culprit). Nothing happens though and he makes it safely to his car. Aversion or subversion?
Hide / Show RepliesInvocation, actually.

The people who kidnapped that girl are waiting for someone inside a parking garage when celty comes out. One of them gets a broken pipe, tries to attack and then gets knocked out via a front wheel to the head.
Can anyone confirm?
Hide / Show RepliesYup, that happens. Feel free to add the example.
Edited by Telcontar That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.
Subverted in Trading Places. The exchange of the crop reports between the fake "Beeks" and the Dukes happens in a parking garage. It's not good for the Duke's, but it's very good for the heroes who end up cornering the market, making themselves millionaires while simultaneously bankrupting the Dukes.
