In the "The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show," Ronnie, George and Gracie's son, is given an initiation by his fraternity that causes him to act like another Gracie. Harry Von Zell says to George that he should offer a car to Ronnie and something else for Gracie. Ronnie's initiation period has just ended when George makes the offer, and he accepts gladly. As does Gracie. George isn't pleased, and tells a scared Harry, "Ronnie was through a little while ago. You're through now!"
