Is there a version of this where you just do the same thing again, without reversing anything? That seems fairly common, too.

  • Call Of Cthulhu spells.
    • When the Resurrection spell is spoken in reverse, it will cause a resurrected creature to return to dust.
      • Based on Lovecraft's "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward"

Changed to:

  • Call Of Cthulhu spells.
    • When the Resurrection spell is spoken in reverse, it will cause a resurrected creature to return to dust. This was based on the HP Lovecraft short novel "The Case of Charles Dexter Ward".

Removed:

  • The first Superman film, where flying in a reverse orbit around the Earth turns back time instead of, well, trashing the entire Earth.
As far as I know, the implication is that he flies faster than light - thus, to the past. (Hollywood Theory of Relativity.)
