The mention of Kirika's multilingualism is linked to "Informed Ability", but it's not an informed ability because, in case no one's noticed, she and Mireille travel to quite a few different countries, where Kirika has no trouble speaking with the locals. An informed ability is an ability that is never displayed. Kirika's multilingualism is clearly displayed. If I find an appropriate article to link that to, I will change the link; otherwise I'll just change it to regular text.

Isn't that mini-review at the start too fanboyish? High-average, non-degrading artwork? WTF? Not even YMMV applies here, Noir is mediocre and that's a fact.

WTF, mediocre? It's at least a YMMV, that's a fact. Artwork is not so detailed, but the perspective of the shots with the lighting/shadow and the background is excellent imho. To me it's a masterpiece of minimalism and subtle, powerful but often hidden emotions and thoughts. Try reading the little blinks of the eyes, sighs and have a stare at a wall in reflection of your memories and feelings and you'll understand Noir better. It's not just about combat scenes for this anime, some elements are like an art film, things about characters are not very clear cut here.
