Would a cousin of this trope be when the antagonist tells the hero, "Unless of course, You're Scared?!?"
In the "Speed Racer"/"Ninja High School" crossover, Snake Oiler, Speed and his friends, AND the Quagmire High folks all went through a lot and the last page of the crossover had Snake pointing out Speed and him had the track, their cars and themselves.
Speed picks up on the hint:
SPEED: You're crazy! After all this, you STILL want to race?!?
SNAKE: Unless of course, you're Scared?
SPEED: YOU'RE ON!!
Asrial later asks as the guys drive off, "Are they crazy?!"
Trixie laughs, "Nah, they're just being macho." Beat. "I think it's cute."
