What's with the YMMV page? Are tropes even supposed to have those? Plus, there's nothing on it. Someone should delete it, since I can't.

Would Songbird from Bioshock Infinite count? It's essentially a massive eagle robot thing that shares a bond with Elizabeth similar to the bond between a Big Daddy and Little Sister from Bioshock 1 & 2. It initially served as a sort-of guardian to Elizabeth before Booker De Witt (the protagonist) tried to help her escape, after which it hunted the pair relentlessly. http://bioshock.wikia.com/wiki/The_Songbird

What is this trope? Every time a bird of prey is recorded in fiction? Or every time it is associated with some quality or theme? Which theme? The description is pretty vague.

Oppression anywhere is a threat to democracy everywhere.
