Is it too soon/contentious to mention a certain infamous jacket?
Hide / Show RepliesI'm not getting it, probably I've never heard of what you're saying.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis description seems to be using sympathy and empathy as though they mean the same thing. Can we fix that?
Edited by EmmaWoodhouse18 Hide / Show RepliesSympathy is concern and compassion stemming from understanding, empathy is being able to perceive and understand anothers emotions. Sympathy may require empathy, empathy doesn't necessarily denote sympathy- someone who accurately gauges anothers emotions and then manipulates them could still be considered empathic. My understanding, at least.
I wonder if any characters who were like this ever got punched for it?
