Anyone else scared of the page pic? I'm a bit ashamed but I am.
Hide / Show Replieshaha,I guess it's doing its job then. It freaked me out a little at first too, that's why I picked it.

Edited by TelcontarTherealsoldier: Ladygem isn't around much anymore, but she's more likely to see that message if you send her a PM with your email rather than posting it here; discussion pages don't get much traffic. I've taken the liberty of hiding the email address in those posts to prevent spam.
Edited by Telcontar That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I saw that the picture was from goosebumps but which story? There should be a description in the literature section. I have the 'Don't Go To Sleep' story and it's picture isn't the one on the page.
Pulled this example, since it's not an example of this trope.
- In the Battlestar Galactica (Reimagined) episode "33", the Colonial Fleet has to keep jumping every 33 minutes to stay ahead of the Cylons, and nobody can sleep while they're jumping. It turns out the Cylons are tracking one specific ship, a passenger liner that apparently has an infiltrator on board. The crew only figures this out when said ship misses a jump, and when it catches up with them it makes a suicide run on the fleet once it realizes that it has been made.
Sleeping people aren't specifically targeted, so not quite this. (Looks like a case of Missing Supertrope Syndrome.)
Does the videogame "Deep Sleep" count as an example of this trope? It involves having to wake up to avoid dying/having your body taken over, and the monsters involved only appear during lucid dreams.
