Um...this appears to have been directly copy-pasta'd from Wikipedia. Also, the definition is...quite confusing. Is it making up your own mythology completely from scratch? Making up your own mythology while incorporating existing mythologies? What the heck is going on?

Also...

As opposed to fantasy worlds or fictional universe aimed at the evocation of detailed worlds with well-ordered histories, geographies, and laws of nature, mythopoeia aims at imitating and including real-world mythology, specifically created to bring mythology to modern readers, and/or to add credibility and literary depth to fictional worlds in fantasy or science fiction books and movies.

This does not seem like the sort of thing that would include Star Wars, The Elder Scrolls, or Warhammer 40,000.

Also also, the word was not coined by Tolkien. It's a ancient Greek word first attested in the 1st century BC.
