More to the point, its use probably violates Steve Mc Curry's copyright on the image. Wikipedia specifically states in their Fair Use Rationale (which looks valid to me, but IANAL) that the article is *about* the picture itself. However, that rationale does not apply in this case and so this is probably an infringement.

Probably not the ur-example, but Sue from Clover is explicity called a mysterious waif on the back cover.
