Can I ask exactly what counts as this trope, specifically does an example have to actually be trying to conquer to count? I ask because I was going to clean up the examples from the Warhammer games as they use incorrect and outdated terminology/spelling/etc. but many of them are specifically simply raiders, not trying to conquer at all.

The specific definition of "conqueror" is someone who wants a people or area that is under their control or whims.

For example, a dreaded pirate is not this trope if he moves from port to port and pillages at random. However, he is this trope if he and his crew rule a specific territory or region and constantly raid and destroy other areas to fatten their wallets or strictly For the Evulz.

Hmmm. The Craftworlders and Exodite probably don't count then as the former don't do it for profit or entertainment and the latter never attack anyone. The Tyranids don't count as they are a Horde of Alien Locusts which the description states that is a contrasting trope.

Thanks.
