Can someone illuminate me on the Killing Eve example? I don't remember Villanelle killing anyone's husband.
The title of this trope doesn't make any sense. Members of the love triangle aren't represented by SIDES, but by ANGLES. Should this be mentioned in some sort of "yes, we know, but we're keeping it anyway" way on the trope page?
Hide / Show RepliesNah, that would be far too pedantic. We don't have to be that percise.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe name of this trope is misspelled. Hypotenuse is a geometry term, hypnoteuse means female hypnotist.
At any rate I'm specifically interested in examples where this overlaps with Girls' Love and School Girl Lesbians.
Edited by MithrandirOlorin Hide / Show RepliesI can't see a misspelling — it's written exactly like the geometry term, which it is meant to be.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going. It's a reference to Love Triangles. By "murdering the hypotenuse", you're removing a side through killing one person in the triangle, making the other two people (hopefully) get together. Female hypnotists have no relation to the trope.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I was thinking it had to do with thinking killing the other woman would break the "Spell" so to speak.
