Star Fox Command had an unusual way of approaching this. The game had several Multiple Endings but the more you played through it the more the difficulty of the first level goes up, from Easing into the Adventure to That One Level , justified seeing as a veteran on his 9th playthrough would be on a higher level of competence opposed to someone who first boots the game up.
Does each playthrough simply add to the difficulty or do you actually go through different levels each time? If the former, then it's not an example of this but of an inverted New Game Plus; if the latter, then it is.
Is this really an example?
