Would a variant count if the one in the middle starts out a muggle, but becomes magical?
Pulled this:
The New 52 status quo was originally that Clark wasn't seeing anyone, and Lois was dating someone else. Then it was that Clark was dating Diana. At no point were Clark and Lois even slightly romantically linked. I know, it's ridiculous, but that's how they decided to write it.
The closest it comes is a brief and quickly dealt with suggestion that pre-Flashpoint Lois in Rebirth is a bit uncomfortable around a woman who dated an alternate version of her husband.
