Does anyone else think that the examples of superheroes wearing their classically designed and colored costumes, just more practically made (ala The Avengers), ought to be kept separate from the examples of them actually wearing black costumes that have little or nothing in common with their familiar costumes (ala X-Men)? Admittedly, I'm not sure what to call the former instead, were we to give them a new trope name.
