Why were all the examples taken down by Kexruct?
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree. Hide / Show RepliesLooks like a loading fail.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerOkay, what does a loading fail mean?
EDIT: Wait, they're back, never mind...
Edited by JustaUsername Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree. It means he tried to edit, but pressed save before the entire page had loaded. If the whole page doesn't load before you hit save, you're going to wipe the parts that didn't load.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerQuestionable Accuracy of Shin Megami Tensei claim, that it was 10 years older. Red and Green came out in Japan in 1996, Shin Megami in 1992 — Four years apart.
Second: The game had most of its key elements already worked out in 1990, under the name "Capsule Monsters." So the idea came before Megami, even if it wasnt released til after.
Hide / Show RepliesYou are mistaken. The first game of the Shin Megami Tensei series is Digital Devil Story: Megami Tensei (no, we don't have a page for it here), which did preceide Pokemon by about 10 years (nine, to be precise).
I fixed the description to correctly label the Trope Maker. But maybe there should be a better explanation on description, so to avoid future confusion?
Could there be a series where the Mons happen to be Humongous Mecha?
Hide / Show RepliesI think the Zoids series are an example of this, possible Type 3. While there are weapon use, in battle, it's mostly involves living Zoids that were piloted by humans.
Edited by pikadon92There is a HUUGE wall of text right in the middle of the examples. I would help, but is about a topic I don't know about (MMORPG, especifically Phantasy Star Online). If any of you is familiar with it, please try to make the example smaller.
Please come to this ATT thread.
