I think we should change the picture for this gallery, as Chuck Norris is no longer considered one nowadays.
Hide / Show RepliesThe guy is now hated for his homophobic views and controversial political views. A "badass" wouldn't have done that.
Like it or not (I'm firmly in the "not" as I thought the meme was tired a long-ass time ago), you're edit-warring to unilaterally remove an image, which is against the rules.
Not to mention, he's still a Memetic Badass. Chuck Norris jokes are still going strong, like it or not (again, I'm in the "not" camp) but it's true.

Show me something/someone from 2018 still doing this.
Seriously, I'm legitimately curious. (Also, sorry for not asking before deleting the pic.)
Like, everywhere. It's a dead meme on the internet but it's still alive and well in the meatsphere.

And like it or not, the Chuck Norris memes were prevalent during the early years of the Internet (at least in my time as a kid), no different from say M. "Of Course" Bison and Leeroy Jenkins. It may no longer be used as the Internet evolves to be more sophisticated, but it is still a significant artifact of Internet history (in fact, I dare say that more people are familiar with the Internet Memetic Badass Chuck Norris than the real Chuck Norris considering that's how most people are introduced to him through Chuck Norris facts).
If the Chuck Norris image is to be removed, it needs an image of another well-known Internet Memetic Badass who can easily ellipse Chuck Norris. And the only one could do that is Bruce Lee.
I mean, it still sees use on the internet today.
It's (somehow) still not a dead meme.
I saw this post this afternoon, it's come up in multiple podcasts, and I also saw an Imgur post about him last week. He's still a larger Memetic Badass than I thought.

By this point, Memetic Badass Chuck Norris is his own character, like "No one does things like" Gaston.
Per TRS, in-universe examples are being transplanted to other tropes:
