What is the trope for a character who is made of iron, but the should-be-fatal injuries are played for laughs instead of drama?

Alex Krycek of the X-files took a lot of punishment over the series, but maybe this is not the right category for him? When his arm was chopped off I don't think it actually regenerated...

Shouldn't this trope be "character with high hit points but low defense", and not "takes fatal blows with no reason"?
