"As noted by The Editing Room, the villains in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull invoke this trope to do the exact same thing the heroes want to do!" I"m sorry but this assessment is false, like in many other example the heroes where only looking for it to keep the villains form finding it.

KOTCS uses the Trope the same way the other Indy films do, but only it gets bashed for it by pretentious Pseudo Nerds.

Does Aladdin really count? He was specifically hired to get the lamp, making it more of a Fetch Quest with a betrayal at the end.

Added a new example for World Of Warcraft; I'm not sure if it really counts because the delivery isn't really a MacGuffin, it's the players themselves, so feel free to toss it out if it doesn't fit.
