I know, I found this by accident looking at Skyclad. Noticed a lot of them are "trapped in another world" stories and not enough video game ones.

They don't necessarily have to be in video games. They just have to use RPG mechanics.

No I get that, just think that stories like Awaken Online should get some of the love, that's how I found the genre. Plus I feel that Role-Playing Game kind of implies video game settings make up a chunk of the genre
