Hi quick discussion - the Dawn/Buffy the Vampire Slayer example here - Dawn was making a Call Back to an Aesop that Buffy was delivering earlier, in an attempt to convince Buffy - it wasn't a translationf ro the viewer. Can I put in a qualifying YMMV here?

Stargate SG-1, final episode. They Learnt Something from the Ancient database. You know, stuff like "Beggars can't be choosers", "Better late than never", "Look before you leap", The best things in life are free", "beauty is only skin deep", silence is golden" and so on.
