I'd say no, unless canon actually says that the overwhelming majority of the population is female, and that the societal system puts the females in a more or less matriarchal level of dominance.

- This may not really count, but Avatar The Last Airbender has Kyoshi Island, where women train to be warriors instead of men. They avert most of the rest of this trope, though, as the island does have men and there's no real indication that either gender is "superior" to another (the "women warrior" tradition is rather just based on the fact that Avatar Kyoshi was born there).
It doesn't count.

Since we don't have a trope about such societies in general, and the examples conform rather loosely I think this trope is fairly inclusive and does not require adherence only to extreme examples. I've rewritten the description to show the extremism as a recurring trait, not a central one.
Cleaned up the examples while I was at it, too.
