Removed this:

• Nightmare Moon also did so way back in Season 1, sending the main characters through a series of trials despite technically being able to kill them at any point...and then realises too late they have, by her actions, become Fire-Forged Friends. Contractual Genre Blindness at its best.

Because: No-one ever said Nightmare Moon wasn't really trying, though she seemed to be avoiding directly facing them. In fact, she used her powers in just about every possible way to try to stop them and just kept failing: First trying to kill them outright by destroying the very ground underneath, then siccing a monster on them, then trying to block their way, then trying to tempt them away from their path. After all that failed, she took the most direct action possible.

I have little idea what the horse racing example is about, but if someone does have an idea, I'd appreciate it if they could check if it's actually an example and clean it up (so that it's not like a conversation) if it is.
