"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI don't have time to look for a scan of the image right now, but a suggestion for the page image - this panel of Green Lantern Green Arrow:
Green Lantern: Easy! You've no cause to yell at me. I have a job to do. I do it. Green Arrow: Seems I've heard that line before... at the Nazi war trials!
One difficulty with that defense in Nuremberg was that a lot of those who used it had already known what the Nazis were and were prepared to serve them to advance their career. Being just a soldier is one thing but no one becomes a camp commandant by Just Following Orders.
In the CG movie "Ant Bully" one of the wasps says exactly that after being hitted and falling down among his enemies.
What would the following exchange classify as:
"Please, I was just following orders!" "I'm following orders too.", followed by a Dramatic Gun Cock and Boom, Headshot!.
