The following Zero-Context Example was added to the literature Ready Player One example in violation of Example Indentation in Trope Lists. It should be in the Film - Live Action folder. It has been commented out on the page because it requires someone with a knowledge of the film to add context.

  • In the movie, another character casually flips the coin to him as a reward for winning a bet. Although Parzival thinks it's rather odd, hindsight shows that the one giving it to him certainly knew its value.

Suggestion: Move current image to the presently imageless "Plot Coupon That Does Something" trope, because that's what it showcases: a McGuffin with functionality.

Replace the one here with a tasteful Zelda reference, such as this: http://www.dorkly.com/post/19694/its-dangerous-to-go-alone-poster

Current doesn't really fit either. It's not a Plot Coupon, so it can't go there. And it's not It May Help You on Your Quest because it obviously does something right from the get-go.

Fallout 3? The random junk that seems useless, but is actually used to make custom weapons with schematics(or be shot out of one of these custom weapons), or junk in Fallout 2, such as the shovel, which is used in at least one of the quests?
