This trope seems to be suffering from an identity disorder. Having an instant win condition is not the same as being "Saved by the Flag" as the trope was originally titled. While they are similar, they should not be listed together on the same page. I think all the "Saved by the Flag" examples should be deleted or split.

In Borderlands, specifically the Knoxx DLC, if you kill Crawmerax all his minions will instantly disappear. Not sure if this qualifies.
