I don't get the second quote. Hasn't anyone heard of "trade paperbacks" or "manga volumes"? (This comes from someone who doesn't even read either) It just doesn't seem to follow the trope description.

Because Infinite Canvas can require pages that simply don't fit on the pages of physical media books - Somehow I doubt A2 is an economical size for printing, or reading, comics - Broadsheet newspapers are bad enough, I doubt anyone wants that inconvenience with a form of entertainment.
