If we are to consider any other full franchise pages to list the image sources, I'd like to cast my vote first for the following:
DC Comics and Marvel Comics (two separate pages, I mean).
I know it would gut the Comic Books section seriously, but with the amount of characters and various works in each, they'll be sure to be even bigger than the Star Wars subpage. (Plus I'm sure not everybody can tell which comics/characters belong to either at a glance. Myself, I get confused sometimes.)
Edited by 90.35.25.86Okay, so it's going to approach the 400,000 character mark. How are we going to split this?
I'm kind of thinking we could use something which categorizes like mediums, such as:
- Anime/Manga/Light Novels
- Video Games/Visual Novels
- New Media (Web Animation, Websites, Web Video, etc.)
and so forth. Anything else?
I now go by Graf von Tirol. Hide / Show RepliesI'd like to remove all works with only one page listed, which would get the size down to just under 300000 (see sandbox, in which I also got rid of the art and photography folders; I see this as about work regardless of medium (hence the massive Star Wars section, which has images from films, comics, and fanart) rather than medium regardless of work — we wouldn't have "manga" and list everything within that. A section for an artist would be fine). I like that way of splitting them by medium, because when it's an image it doesn't really matter if the actors are in a film or a TV show.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Nah, I doubt that would be necessary. For instance, the Trope Namers subpages do include plenty of instances where works would name just one trope.
I now go by Graf von Tirol.Eh, fair enough. Your way of splitting is good, then.
