Does this... really need a Trope Namer? I mean, it's a Stock Phrase. Somehow, I doubt an obscure Web Comic is the progenitor of the term.
EDIT: I deleted it, especially since the link didn't even lead anywhere. I did find the comic I assume it was referring to and she doesn't even say "I am not pretty"
so... yeah. That's gone.
