Peter Pan and Tinker Bell are technically an example. Peter being a normal-sized human, Tink being a six inch fairy.

Fred and Wilma Flintsone under Western Animation. Is Wilma really shorter or smaller than average? Isn't this just fat guy with a hot wife, which is all too common these days
